COLLINSVILLE – Glidden Park in Collinsville will receive a $400,000 state grant to help with park improvements, State Senator Rachelle Crowe announced today.
The grant is through the state’s Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) program, administered by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
“It is truly exciting to see the money going to such a deserving park,” Crowe (D-Glen Carbon) said. “Parks play an important role in countless communities across my district, and I am thrilled for the families that will get to spend time and make memories enjoying the improvements at Glidden Park for years to come.”
The Glidden Park Revival Development project is one of 89 statewide OSLAD grant recipients announced today.
